The Presbytery of Philadelphia is committed to missional theology and missional living.  This means, we believe in the apostolic mission of the church.  We believe that God sends us as ministers of the gospel to those in our communities, our cities, and our world.  As a Presbytery we are committed to engaging the cultures in which we minister, holding each Presbyterian Church in the Presbytery of Philadelphia accountable to the missional mandate, supporting congregations in missional living, intentionally rethinking the development of pastors for effective ministry in various settings, and committing to congregational development.
