Christian Living in God’s Splendor (from the Being Reformed: Faith Seeking Understanding series) (Kendra Hotz)

In this study, the authors invite us to see Christian living as life lived in God’s splendor. The beauty of harmonious relationships can shape our understandings of who are as God’s people, as we live simply in this world. Our affections as ways of expressing who we are as Christians are directed toward God. We live with other in the community of Christian faith, the church. We celebrate the beauties of nature and the wonders around us, the
arts and the glories of life since God became a human in Jesus Christ. As disciples of Christ, we delight in his beauty, take on suffering, and work for that for which he gave his life. We die and rise with Christ. We live out the beauties of the Christian life in our vocations, in what we do and who we are.
