Presbyterian Community Ministries of the Delaware Valley
Mission Statement
The Presbyterian Community Ministries of the Delaware Valley (PCMDV) is a not-for-profit corporation chartered by the state of Pennsylvania to provide necessary financial, administrative, and supervisory support to community organizations performing charitable services in the Delaware Valley.
Vision Statement
The vision of the Presbyterian Community Ministries of the Delaware Valley (PCMDV) is:
- to strengthen existing community ministry organizations related to the Presbytery of Philadelphia and its strategic partners by providing them with financial, administrative, and supervisory support as needed to fulfill their mission,
- to promote the ministry of such community ministry organizations within the Presbytery of Philadelphia and among other people and groups of good will,
- to develop financial support and technical expertise to assist the development of strong programs of ministry by the community ministry organizations which it supports,
- to explore and develop the expansion of community ministries across the Delaware Valley and particularly in the metropolitan region of Philadelphia, and
- to engage congregations in developing community ministries among their neighbors or in their areas of service.
