♦ WAYNE HOSTS FATHER’S DAY JAZZ VESPERS WITH PROCEEDS GOING TO KIRKWOOD CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS ♦

PHILADELPHIA, PA – The Jazz Vespers music ensemble is gearing up for a special Father’s Day concert appropriately titled “Songs With My Father.”

“Songs With My Father” takes place Sunday June 16, beginning at 5 pm at Wayne Presbyterian Church, 125 E. Lancaster Avenue, Wayne, PA 19087. After the concert there will be light refreshments and a free will offering directly supporting youth in South West Philadelphia that are interested in attending Camp Kirkwood this summer.

The concert features father and son musicians including Leon Jordan, Sr. on drums, Leon Jordan, Jr. on trumpet, Ed Etkins on saxophone, and Michael Etkins on bass. Joining the father and son pairings is Aaron Groves on piano and special guest vocalist Reverend Aisha Brooks-Lytle.
