CAPITAL GRANTS FROM THE PRESBYTERY OF PHILADELPHIA

Capital Grants and Presbytery loans may be available to supplement the financing for the maintenance and preservation of capital assets: structural repairs, such as roof repair/replacement; capital equipment, such as boilers, and other capital expenditures.  Capital Grants and loans are reviewed and considered for approval by the Commission on Financial Management (the Trustees of the Presbytery of Philadelphia).

The Trustees of the Presbytery understand the challenges of maintaining buildings and other capital needs as part of responsible stewardship.  As such, they stand willing to assist congregations who have demonstrated a faithful effort in the ongoing going care of their facilities.

*Note:  The preference of the Commission on Financial Management is to pay vendors directly.  A vendor invoice with approval of payment from the Clerk of Session or Pastor is required before monies are disbursed.

**Capital loans from the Presbytery may be available at favorable interest rates and flexible terms.  Should a loan be made available, terms will be mutually agreed upon at that time.
