Beacon Church, in the Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia, seeks a part-time pastor to begin on or near October 1, 2025. This part-time position is 20-25 hours a month, focusing on worship leadership, preaching, moderating our Session and pastoral care. Beacon currently worships on the first Sunday of the month with a community dinner integrated into worship, along with a community gathering on the third Wednesday called Pub Theology; Session approved a shift to this model for 2025 and worship services will be weekly in Advent. Session will review and reassess our worship format in late 2025.
