Pennsylvania Annual Report Requirements for all Churches

Churches, must complete and file a Pennsylvania Annual Report. by June 30th, 2026 to avoid fees. Filing is done online and if the report is not filed by the due date a late fee will be charged. Continued non-compliance could result in your church falling out of “good standing” or even administrative dissolution by the Commonwealth.

What does this Mean: All churches need to update their contact information and report on who their corporate officers are for their “Corporation” i.e. president, secretary & treasurer, vice-presidents are optional. The cost is free for non-profits (like your church) if you do it before June 30.

Do you have officers? Check with your Clerk of Session. The corporate officers must be properly elected by the session (unicameral) or Trustees (bicameral) and documented in the minutes. If your church has not elected officers recently, you need to begin the process and duly elect them before filing the Annual Report.

How do we update this information? Once logged in, the process should only take a few minutes. Here’s a handy guide from the Commonwealth: https://www.pa.gov/agencies/dos/programs/business/types-of-filings-and-registrations/annual-reports
