Business Administrator Search Committee Announces Employment Opportunity

A letter from the Moderator of the Business Administrator Search Committee of the Presbytery of Philadelphia:

On August 1st, the Presbytery of Philadelphia Business Administrator Search Committee met for the first time. We have big shoes to fill as Larry Davis’ faithful tenure draws to a close at year’s end, yet given the gifted elders and ministers with whom I have privileged to serve, I am confident we are up to the task. Thus as we begin this effort on your behalf, I need your help.

As part of our meeting, we reviewed the job description (found below) and talked about the key skills needed in this role. We are looking for a person with 5-7 years of relevant work experience in risk management and property issues, finance and budget, an individual who has proved adept in funds development and supervising a team, and someone with a love for the church who possess the people skills needed in cross-cultural settings.
