Fall Fest – Ministry Beyond the Edges

Mark your calendars for “Fall Fest – Ministry Beyond the Edges: A Presbytery-wide Equipping Event for All,” taking place on Saturday, October 29 from 9:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church. Our keynote speakers will be the Rev. Dr. B. Hunter Farrell and the Rev. Balajiedlang (Bala) Khyllep, co-authors of the *book, “Freeing Congregational Mission: A Practical Vision for Companionship, Cultural Humility, and Co-Development.” Please click here for Rev. *Copies of “Freeing Congregational Mission: A Practical Vision for Companionship, Cultural Humility, and Co-Development” will be available for purchase on the day of Fall Fest for $15.00 per book.

Following their presentation, colleagues from the presbytery will be leading workshops on topics such as congregational vitality, preaching for this moment, cultivating enough in a scarcity culture, challenges & opportunities of the Gospel and public ministry, not your parents’ youth ministry, and more. We are looking forward to this time to come together as a presbytery to learn, foster relationships, and deepen our understanding of what it means to be the church in this time and place. The workshops are listed below in our registration form. You will be able to attend a morning and an afternoon workshop. We are asking that you provide TWO choices from the morning and TWO from the afternoon selections; you will be assigned ONE from each based on availability and space. 

The cost of the Fall Fest equipping event is $15.00/per person.
