The leadership team of Presbyterian Women of Philadelphia has decided to postpone the Zoom presentation of the National Presbyterian Women’s Churchwide Gathering. The event was scheduled for Thursday evening at Oxford Presbyterian Church. PWPP will instead host Zoom plenaries and workshops throughout the fall at various times and locations. The opening plenary introduces the Gathering theme by asking “What’s Love Got to Do with It?” Leaders will reframe love as not just an emotion, but a gift and commandment from God. Rev. Cindy Kohlmann, who has served in two congregations, three presbyteries, and as co-moderator of the 223rd General Assembly, will give the keynote.

Presbyterian Women’s Churchwide Gathering (CWG) is celebrated every three years! In 2024, the CWG will be held in St. Louis, Missouri, August 8–11. Plenary and large-group sessions will be held at the America’s Center Convention Complex. Marriott St. Louis Grand is across the street from the America’s Center, which will house other Gathering programming and opportunities (i.e., shopping and dining!).
