PTS & The Farminary Offers “Wine and the Bible” Course
Princeton Theological Seminary announces new upcoming course/continuing education offering for pastors and leaders and will be held Thursday evenings from 6:00-9:00PM (1-hour lecture + 2-hour tasting) starting September 8th, and running for six consecutive weeks.
The course is called “Wine and the Bible” and it includes lecturers from multiple institutions, a chance to spend time with other local leaders and PTS students on the Seminary’s 21-acre Farminary, and a deep-dive into the relationship between wine, winemaking, and Biblical/ancient texts.
Participants can sign up for:
- Session 1 – Sept. 8, 15, and 22
- Session 2 – Sept. 29, Oct. 6, and 13
- Or the entire six weeks – Sept. 8 – Oct. 13
- The cost is $125 per three-week session, or $200 for participation in the full six-week course.

Lectures and tastings will take place at The Farminary, the seminary’s 21-acre farm in Lawrence Township. Participants will connect with master’s degree students at Princeton Theological Seminary, who are taking the course for credit.
