Boundary Awareness Training May 25 2021

May 25, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

The Presbytery is pleased to offer two additional “virtual” opportunities this May for boundary awareness training:

Practicing Boundaries and Self-Care During a Pandemic and Beyond

The training will be offered via zoom on:

Wednesday, May 5, 2021 from 10:00am to 4:00pm or

Tuesday, May 25, 2021 from 10:00am to 4:00pm

*If you did not attend last October, please plan on attending ONE of these two sessions. As you know, as servant leaders one of the most important and life-giving investments of our time is to attend to whatever is needed for us to maintain healthy vocational and personal relationships.  (Last October many of our leaders were blessed by our boundary awareness training seminars.)

This training is required for all clergy as well as all commission and committee members in the Presbytery of Philadelphia.

We are grateful to welcome back Michelle Snyder, LCSW, MDiv, who has been a practicing mental health therapist and public speaker for over 10 years.  Her primary areas of clinical specialty are religious trauma, faith development, and suicidality.  Her public speaking includes seminars on suicide prevention, pastoral boundaries, and ethics.  In addition, she works as a church consultant with the Center for Healthy Churches.  She lives in Pittsburgh with her clergy husband and two teenage daughters.

It is a privilege and responsibility to serve God’s people alongside you as members of the Presbytery of Philadelphia.  It is our hope these seminars will inform and encourage your ministry. We pray God’s blessing as your journey continues.

Please register online at the Presbytery website on the form below for the particular session you choose at least one week before the training event.
