The NW Region will be showing the film “13th” in its entirety on Saturday, March 23rd, 9:30 a.m. – noon at the Office of the Presbytery of Philadelphia.  There will have a brief, facilitated discussion afterwards. There will be coffee and light refreshments but registration is not required. There is ample parking, and the entrance faces the parking lot behind the building.

SAVE-THE-DATES! More events coming from the NW Region!

This spring the NW region will be holding a 3-part discussion of the book, Gather at the Table: The Healing Journey of a Daughter of Slavery and a Son of the Slave Trade, by Thomas Norman DeWolf and Sharon Morgan.

This book was the inspiration for the “Coming to the Table” organization, and our conversations will follow that model. We think it will offer a helpful focus and starting off point.

We are asking people to commit to all three sessions. The sessions will be:

  • Saturday, April 27th, 9:30 a.m. (location to be announced)
  • Saturday, May 18th, 9:30 a.m. at the Presbytery Office
  • Saturday, June 15th, 9:30 a.m. at the Presbytery Office.

You may order the book online, and we’ll also have copies at the movie showing on March 23rd. We hope to see you at one or both of these events. Please don’t hesitate to contact us at [email protected]  if you have any questions.
