Heritage Sunday is May 19, 2019

Every year, Presbyterians celebrate Heritage Sunday, a day to reflect upon and learn more about the long and rich history of Presbyterianism in America. Heritage Sunday always falls on the Sunday closest to May 21, the opening date of the first General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church in the United States of America in 1789. This year, they celebrate Henry Highland Garnet’s Vision of Justice.

Heritage Sunday is a day of celebration set aside by the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). To celebrate and learn more about the history of Presbyterianism in America visit: www.history.pcusa.org/hs
