Greetings to all the saints in the churches of the Southeast Regional Commission!

May 10, 2013

On June 4th we are about to launch a whole new way of being as members of the Southeast Region of the Philadelphia Presbytery* gather for our very first meeting. We are on the ground floor of a new creation that is just waiting to be shaped by YOU!

Our New Form of Government has opened the way for more creativity and freedom in the way we organize ourselves as a governing body, and our Presbytery’s new design allows us to gather in smaller groups that will foster deeper relationships and—God willing—genuine Koinonia. BUT…

Please come to our first meeting and help us shape our new identity by providing the unique

PURPOSE, PERSPECTIVE & PROMISE

of the church you represent.

We will start with dinner at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, June 4 at the Berean Presbyterian Church, located at Broad & Diamond Streets on the campus of Temple University. Parking is available in the church parking lot on Diamond St. and there is usually street parking on Diamond St. as well.

The cost for dinner will be $5 and reservations are required no later than May 28 by contacting Olivet Covenant Church (phone 215-232-2019 or e-mail ocoffice@verizon.net.) Additional docket information will be posted soon on the SE Commission’s web page of the presbytery’s website, www.presbyphl.org.

We look forward to seeing you on June 4th, trusting that the Lord has great plans for us as we rededicate ourselves to his service for such a time as this.

 See you then!

 Your Southeast Leadership Team,

Linda Jaymes, Convener

Michael Smith, Vice-Convener

Shawn Hyska, Recording Clerk

Mike Pulsifer, Yvonne Rudolph, Linda Jacobsen, Bill Golderer
