Johnsonburg Camp Summer Programs:
Johnsonburg is the kind of place where your child won’t even miss their phone. They’ll meet new friends and learn new things about themselves. They’ll try out experiences that they definitely can’t get at home. They’ll meet camp counselors that they’ll remember forever. This is a place like nowhere else – and we’re one of the best summer camps in New Jersey.

- We must open our hearts and our doors to all people because every person is created in the image of God and has inherent value.
- Racism and other attitudes of bias and hatred can be diminished by being in a community that welcomes all.
- There is value in small groups within which individuals are welcomed and encouraged to express their uniqueness, and yet remain responsible for supporting the rights of others.
- Emotionally and physically safe environments, guided by caring and trusted adults, are essential to healthy growth.
- Time spent in a natural outdoor setting engenders a respect for nature, a commitment to stewardship, and awe in the presence of God’s creation.

The Presbytery recommends all families wishing to send their children to a Christian based summer cap to explore Johnsonburg Camp and Conference Center. Johnsonburg is an exceptional camp with impressive amenities.

The Presbytery of Philadelphia offers Camp Sponsorships for children from within our Presbyterian Churches to attend a Christian Camp for up to two weeks maximum per year. All applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
We believe attending a Christian summer camp can be life-changing, and we are glad to offer FINANCIAL SPONSORSHIPS to families in the Presbytery of Philadelphia.
