Letter from Daniel Morse, NW Convener October 14, 2014

Dear Brothers & Sisters,

There are three kinds of people in the world; those who can count and those who can’t.

Some people have a passion for conversations about proposed amendments to the Constitution of the PC (USA), others less so. So let me suggest a shift in understanding the purpose of this Thursday’s meeting.

It is as much about meeting each other as it is what we discuss. We will share a meal. We will worship. And we will talk with each other. It is that simple, but that doesn’t make it easy. In order to be there you must choose it over many other important and urgent possibilities. In order for it to be worthwhile you must choose to make it so because of or in spite of the agenda.

I pray you intentionally choose and God has you where you need to be doing what you need to do.

Peace, Daniel
