Lutheran Theological Seminary January Learning Opportunities

ltsp_webBeginning in January 2016, Lutheran Theological Seminary in Philadelphia is offering one-week courses for continuing education and personal enrichment.

Why not take advantage of these outstanding course offerings to build and sharpen your skills? Here are one week offerings for continuing education and personal enrichment by auditing a class – senior citizen discounts available! You need to have attained at minimum a bachelor’s degree to take a course (MDiv or other first theological degree is required for courses above 400 level). (If you are an LTSP student or are interested in a course for academic credit, please see the registration home page.)

They have a great line-up of 9 different courses. Click here for a complete description.

We have two interfaith courses, one taught by Partners for Sacred Places about buildings (including capital campaigns), one on the “spirituality of business and the business of spirituality” co-taught with faculty from Temple U., a course on Hip Hop and Theology (!), a preaching course taught by well-known preacher Barbara Lundblad, a course on the relationship of science and theology (on Darwinism), a course on liturgy, and an ethics course on war and conscience.

Clergy can take these for credit (DMin, STM) or continuing education.

It would be great to have more Presbyterians on campus!
