Presbytery of Philadelphia Celebrates 300 Years

The Presbytery of Philadelphia is moving with great excitement towards our 300th Anniversary in 2017. As part of our year of celebration, we will publish a commemorative devotional titled, 300 Days for 300 Years. This devotional will be a lovely, hardbound keepsake celebrating the history and ministry of this Presbytery

As we move through the 300 days between Ash Wednesday and Christmas, we invite each of our churches and worshipping communities to contribute up to two (2) pieces to be included in this commemorative spiritual devotional booklet. Please consider including one from a pastor of the congregation and one from the likes of an elder, child, youth, etc., as we seek to include a vast array of voices that will lead us through the liturgical year of our tricentennial. If your church did not receive assignments, please contact Betsi Moise at [email protected].

Contributions can be written reflections, poetry, or artistic expressions based upon and inspired by an assigned collection or portion of the weekly lectionary or daily readings, personal faith in Jesus Christ, love for the church and related mission, and (if pertinent) the liturgical season in which their devotional will fall, e.g. Christmas, Advent, Pentecost, Easter, Lent, etc.
